About Juniper

Juniper has spread over Central Oregon dramatically in the last 80 years and Juniper trees consume a lot of water estimates range from 40 to 60 gallons per day per tree. Government agencies want Juniper removed but done in a way that does not harm the landscape and is done in a clean way keeping streams and stream banks intact. That is why our juniper is sustainably harvested from areas where ranchers and federal as well as state government want them removed to restore water and the natural range land as the juniper has spread to these areas where it is an invasive species.
